Chris Ostler, a Singer Songwriter based in Devon, was first interested in music with a couple of personal significant influences. Before birth, he kicked inside his mothers stomach when the radio was on, he enjoyed listening to his mother sing and his dad play guitar/bass. He even still loves to sing in the shower as often as he can because its so simple to do so, and the sound is phenomenal. At DeMontfort University in Leicester, Chris went to complete a BA (Hons) Music, Technology and Performance Degree, which then became the start of his gigging career alongside. He developed his repertoire and styles of writing to invoke more flavours in his structures, but also to include more of his interests and questions in his music. The technology at the University helped extraordinarily so that within his 2nd year of of education, he funded and produced his first EP release which was then launched at the start of his 3rd year. Playing both originals and covers from rock,pop,funk,folk and even RnB! Chris has supported Artists such as Joan Armatrading, Martin Barre (guitarist from Jethro Tull), Yes Sir Boss, Three Daft Monkeys, Adam Issac, and fronted the Mama Stones Houseband, he is mainly known for his stronh strong voice and powerful lyrics. The new album has a rockier feel from the earlier EP and has a full 6 piece supporting band bringing real depth and clarity. Chris' Music is supported through a mid-atlantic, rock style but with a tasty and catchy melody in his own music!
