the stars is doobious' first release and is a work that was founded on meshing the meaningful, melodic lyrics of his early singer songwriter days with the hip-hop derived, guitar and piano laden instrumental beats. it's basically like Everlast, Dr. Dre, and Craig David had a funky musical lovechild. the raw, insightful commentaries and sometimes satirical observations are directed at betrayal, ignorance, society and often doobious himself. enjoy.
