This shameless release from BMG Special Products presents ten basic Elvis numbers under the auspices of music for kids. While nothing on it is inappropriate for young ears, isn't it a little hokey to include Elvis' photo and a cartoon teddy bear in the cover art? Presley's version of "Old MacDonald" (from the MGM picture Double Trouble) is effective enough as a singalong, and Loving You's "(Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear" is still a great song. But it's not likely that Elvis had kids in mind when he originally sang it. Upon purchase of this disc, consumers also run the risk of incubating new Elvis impersonators at an impressionable young age.
