This is Bishop Yvette Flunder's second solo project.Her first "There's Power" was recorded in 1996. Bishop Flunder presides over about 55 churches, which make up an organization lovingly called "The Fellowship". Each year in June these churches come together in a week long conference. At the end of the 2005 conference, in Oakland California at The Olivet Institutional Missionary Baptist Church - (Pastored by Gordon A. Humphrey) a live concert was recorded. God was in the house! It was an exciting, spiritual and up lifting service, which rendered what many feel may be one of this years most significant gospel CD releases. This CD is entitled "We Won't Be Silent Anymore" and it embodies selections like, "I Will Give You Rest" which is the released single, composed by Patrisha Gill (famous for the song - "Solid Rock" recorded by Bishop Walter Hawkins and The Love Center Choir on "Love Alive IV). On this project Bishop Flunder has some of the most talented singers in the country like - Martha Wash, Shirley Miller, Brenda Roy-Matier, Karen "Kitty" Brewington, Jeanie Tracy and Gene Viale and of course her brother - Leonard Conner singing the title song as a duet "Silent Anymore" Her mother The Rt. Rev. Ruth Langston shares the mic on the traditional gospel favorite, "Lord Keep Me Day By Day" - I promise you - your feet will not stop moving. Adding "He'll Make It Alright" added to your choir selection and "The Lord Is Good" added to your praise and worship song list will fill the church with such joy, these two songs are written by Allowyn Price. You have heard her voice many times with Bishop Walter Hawkins, The Women Chorus/GMWA and The Olivet Institutional Missionary Baptist Church Choir - "Sunday Night Live" just to name a few and you have her speak to many people all over this country - the truth about the unconditional love of Jesus Christ - this project will fill your heart with so much joy and inspiration, you may find yourself purchasing others to share with friends and loved ones. She delivers a message of hope for all people - the "good news through real gospel music" at its best. The Fellowship producer on this project is the most talented musician, songwriter,arranger I know - Carl Wheeler who is famous for his musicianship with The Hawkins Family - Andre'Crouch, Bishop Walter Hawkins and Love Center Choir, Toni-Tone-Tonie and Frankie Beverly and Maze and the list goes on - we at Committed Records LLC, are so proud to have him as our producer on this wonderful project - he turned this recording into a masterpiece.
