He was lead to Christ first by his mother Celeste, and then by circumstances that were beyond him, his mother passing on Dec 16th 2005. With no where to turn, he turned away from this sin-filled world and turned unto God as he said, "The Lord Gives the Lord Takes Blessed be the name of the Lord. I give myself to you God." As a child, Elijah found his voice and expression through writing. Through his writing his story is told. Currently Elijah serves as Youth Pastor at New Destiny worship Center.
