简介
Meet Ellee Ven, a woman who creates her world through music, style, and philanthropy. Through her non-genre specific sound and her charity, Give into the Groove, Ellee Ven has found a way to live her life happily through self expression while giving back to her home community of Lexington, Kentucky. Her musical journey has been one that she has paved out herself. Originally from Los Angeles, she knew that she needed to try new sounds and styles constantly without conforming to industry pressures. This led her to the creation of her own genre ‘Groovetonics.’ She describes her music as a fuse of pop, rock and electronica to “lift your mood and make you move.” She states, “I don’t know anyone else that’s like me and I don’t know why my music should be like anyone else’s.” For a visual representation of her unique world, watch her music video “You Can Buy Me,” directed by Eric Zimmerman. Ellee Ven lives by her mantra that anyone can make a difference through art. With this mindset, Ellee Ven founded Give into the Groove in 2001. This charity raises money for children’s art programs and local charities in the Lexington area. She says, “The goal is to combine fun and philanthropy and redefine charity for a new generation. Philanthropy doesn't need a high price tag. We want an event where everyone can afford to be involved!"
