Affectionately recognized on stage as MYS MICHELLE. This young songstress is without a doubt a force to be reckoned with. Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, USA, MYS MICHELLE recognized her passion for the Lord and gift of music at an early age. Influenced by the vigor and tenacity of her late mother, Margaret Owens Bussie. Michelle's ability to overcome adverse conditions and uplift the lives of others was ingrained in her DNA. 1997-1999 The National Association of the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Awarded MYS MICHELLE winner of the ACT-SO Talent Competition. In 2000, she dominated as winner of Chicago's WGCI 107.5 Annual Music & Entertainment Seminar where she shared the stage with recording artist Joe, Grammy Award Winner Mary J. Blige, Grammy, Dove, and Stellar winners Mary Mary and music mogul Clive Davis. MYS MICHELL'S background performance roster comprises of some of the most respected gospel artist in the music industry including Trinitee 5:7, Dion Warwick, Sherrie Addison, Kelvin Lenox, Tremaine Hawkins, Karen Clark-Sheard, Ray Bady, BeBe Winans, Percy Bady, Tye Tribett, BeBe and CeCe Winans, etc which has broadened her travels overseas as well as through out the states, reaching audiences up to 10,000. In addition to MYS MICHELLE'S experience as a supporting singer, her captivating presence and comfort as a solo artist is progressively beginning to expand. MYS MICHELLE has 2 albums under her belt.
