This is a tune that is sort a' like long overdue in a way. It is lyrical and musical imagery, that was mostly inspired by the events that took place before, during, and somewhat after my move from the state of Maryland, back in Oct-Nov 2012, when the entire eastern seaboard (including Maryland), was being hit by Hurricane/Superstorm "Sandy"! As well as, being about things related to "intuition" - during the last few months or so, of my stay in the state, and somewhat thereafter. This song, is basically just my way of musically documenting some of those absolutely surreal and mysterious experiences... At least several quotes do come to mind here however... "I dreamed of you. We were both walking in the dark. We found each other in the dark..." -From the movie: 'The Green Mile' "Sometimes, you just have to bow your head, say a prayer, and weather the storm." "Making a big life change is pretty scary, but you know what is even scarier? REGRET." "It is good to have an end to journey towards, but it is the journey that matters in the end." -K.G. All these quotes capture in part, the essential meaning of at least some of the inspiration behind this track...
