Joe Little is a Surrey based musician who has been composing film and TV music for 20 years. His music has been used in documentaries, radio and has sound tracked podcasts, websites and hypnotherapy groups. He has collaborated with several singer/songwriters and poets as well as the Ghanaian drum troop “Aklowa”.

His 8th album “Chronicles of an Analogpunk” is his 3rd since leaving the BMN/High Barn label. Composed over a 2-year period “Analogpunk” sees Joe moving back toward the analog synth and arpeggiated sounds from the 70s and 80s that so excited him when he started out.

“I wanted to channel some of the sounds that so excited me when I started out and got me deeply interested in synthesizers in the first place”. “Looking back its an obvious retro piece where my main influences come through be it the lengthy synth prog of “Phobos to Deimos Return”, the Tangerine Dream like “Jonny Arpeggiator meets the Analogpunk” or the Jarre like “Through the Electronic Ether”. But the album is also offset but the quirky Laurie Anderson/Kraftwerk referenced “Infinity plus 1”, “Lunchtime at Zom Zom’s” and “49 Days in the Bardo” and clear nods to my ambient heroes Eno and Fripp with “The Temple of Seven Silent Guitarists” and “The Bard Regrets
