Ela started recording in Thailand in 2004 with her own composition, ’Lovin’ You Feels So Brand New’ featured in the album Monotony Jazz In Love. Shortly after moving to Hong Kong, she began to work with Drum Music LTD singing for television and internet commercials as well as movie soundtracks. Features include, Hong Kong Disneyland’s 2007 Sparkling Christmas Promotion, ‘What’s in Your Watsons’ commercial in 2009 and ‘EPS I Do’ commercial in 2012. Hong Kong movie trailer credits include ‘Hot Summer Days’ in 2010 and ‘Love In Space’ in 2011. In 2009 Ela was a featured artist in the Beatles vocal jazz arranged album, “Liverpool Stories”. After which, her bluesy arrangement of ‘I Saw Her Standing There’ was chosen to be included in the Sevva Sounds Compilation CD released in October, 2011. Ela’s latest recording features her on the Hong Kong hiphop group 24Herbs new single ‘Hot in the 852’ released summer of 2013. Ela’s new project is programing music & recording for the group VoSSa, reinventing classic songs and melodies while crossing over and fusing genres. Ranging from Big Band Swing, Latin or just creating a funky new groove, Ela is developing a style which is uniquely her own.
