Introspectrum is a guitar-centric instrumental album that was a long time coming for me. As a studio musician, I spend most of my guitar playing from an accompaniment or "backseat" position. This was my first project where I wrote solely for the expression of self, for me to hear who and what I am as a writer/player (at this stage in my life), and to hear who has influenced me throughout the years. I owe many thanks to Grammy Award winning and great friend Phil Allen (Bass) as well as Ryan Smith (Drums), Max Vlach (Keys), and Spencer Wiles (Horns) for adding their unparalleled talents so effortlessly. Listener, I hope you enjoy this record as much as I had fun writing it! - JN
