BIGG ROBB Starting his musical journey in the land of funk Cincinnati Ohio as a pre-teen BIGG ROBB has spent over 2 decades traveling the globe as an entertainer, record producer recording artist. His hope and dream is that with every hand shake and hug as well as every cd sold he would bring positivity and happiness to someone’s heart. Robb's musical roots go back to the early 80's when he became a member of roger troutman's zapp entourage as personal assistant to the late R&B icon Robb learned firsthand the art of performing and record making. You will also find him featured in classic video footage from HBO, SOUL TRAIN and many more of their legendary performances. After the untimely passing of his mentor Robb started his own production company ROBBMUSIC And set about writing,arranging,remixing &producing for some of the industry’s most popular artist’s and labels including Warner brothers,a&m & thump/universal. ROBB has also produced recordings for musical legends Shirley Murdock, Charlie Wilson, Mel waiters as well as Ohio players lead singer sugarfoot& his childhood hero William “bootsy”Collins. It was during the remixing of Mel waiters classic song hole in the wall that Robb decided to get more involved in the southern soul/blues arena. This new found interest sparked a fire that has culminated into ROBB along with his family starting a recording label called over25sound The imprint which has brought forth Robb’s last 3 solo efforts including grown folk’s music, southern soul cares, the bigg woman song, merry Christmas from the bigg man& most recently (2007) 8tracksand45”s. The label is also home for ROBB’S band which is called DA PROBLEM SOLVAS Their debut cd has become one of the labels most significant titles. With the release of his new cd 8 tracks and 45’s ROBB continues in his tradition of mixing Old school flavors with a true down home feel.
