Born in the San Francisco Bay Area, she studied piano and voice from a young age and knew that a life without music was not possible- it defined her. Margarita is best known for her appearance on "Fame Story," Greece's answer to "American Idol." Her multi-faceted career in musical theatre, jazz, pop, rock, and world music has defied borders. The combination of her Music degree in Vocal Performance coupled with her love for languages has allowed her to perform in several countries including Greece, Canada, Germany, China, Cuba and Australia among others. Her sultry and romantic voice captivates her audience. Her latest single “Stronger,” originally made popular by Kelly Clarkson, is both innovative and inspiring. Working closely with the talented Leah Tysse and Mike Blankenship, Margarita takes the hit song to a new level with added Greek lyrics. “Because of the economic crisis in Greece and understanding how passionate Greeks are about music and dance, I wanted to find a way to lift their spirits," says Margarita. "I changed the words around from a love song to an empowering song. 'What doesn't kill you makes you Stronger' no matter how hard things are in life.”
