Oriri "Osayomore" is a song writer, music producer, actor, voice artiste and multi-instrumentalist. Oriri began his foray into music by secretly learning to play the drums and mastering his skills by age 15. An ardent lover of African rhythm, he credits his father, "Ambassador Osayomore Joseph", with igniting his passion. His professional debut was with Ambassador Joseph’s band, where he served as the group’s keyboardist in 1997. Oriri is a story teller. He uses percussion, keyboards and strings to convey and illicit emotion. After playing for his local church for several years, he went on to broaden his scope in music by playing with a local jazz band. In time, music would begin to take a back seat as he went on to study law at University of Benin. Music, however, was not finished with him. Oriri often attended his law classes with his guitar strapped around his back and eventually lost his desire for a degree in legislation. His first love was calling, and he answered in earnest. He went on to earn a BA in drama from the University of Benin while funding his craft through talent shows and competitions. He was notorious in school for playing a wide range of acting roles and also got good reviews for directing Twingle Twangle by Femi Oshofisan. His first hit song Sisi Eko, was recorded using the prize money he won in a competition while still in campus. Oriri has poured his passion into performing his trademark soul and Afro RnB on different stages and has several protégés following his Afro centric style of singing.
