Unlike their past two releases, this album puts the drumset on the sideline, in favor of mellow, percussion based sound. Not to say the songs are not grooving! Subtle surdo and other traditional Brazilian percussion instruments provide a texture that is, at once, dance-able and relaxing. This album also features much more of Mike's melodic bass playing on upright and electric. Theresa sounds as great as ever.
