Devotum Lucifer represents the debut release from the atmospheric one man act Marfik known for his work as the bassist of Sterbenzeit. With a nature inspired sound, the nine tracks presented here feature a foundation of smoky atmosphere fleshed out by the tones of traditional instruments, streams and wildlife. A relaxed black metal release overall, but with enough darkness to keep the listener fully engaged.
