I was sitting on a rock at Ned's Point in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts one day back in the fall as I was visiting my folks. When I tried to write a sad song about all the wrong stuff that was happening, the only thing I could focus on was how to stay positive and upbeat in times of turbulence and destruction. All I could think about was giving myself to love and how when we give ourselves to love and surrender to the most high, the spirits of those who came before us, and the Great Spirit who oversees all beings, that's when we find ultimate peace, meditative conscious awakening, and relaxation––what yogis refer to as Somadhi. "You gotta give yourself to love...it's the only way."
