We are two musicians with flamenco guitars in our hands. And we have created an instrumental album about love, peace, passion, joy and sadness - emotions that encapsulate the human experience. To create a modern sound with captivating arrangements, we employed many different instruments: a cajón; bass, electric and steel string guitars; a variety of keyboards; and samples. Composing and recording this album took us five years and resulted in 10 compositions to which we hope you will listen not only with your ears but also with your heart. "Amistad" is a flamenco-flavored rumba about friendship and getting together. To spice it up, we included a chorus of gypsy voices. "Amor," a ballad with touching melodic lines and a strong cajón rhythm, tells a story about the wonderful feeling of love. "La Vida Nueva," a funky samba with elements of rock, evokes those moments in which our lives change for the better. "Django" is our tribute to the legendary gypsy guitar player, Django Reinhardt, the father of gypsy jazz. "Brazil" was inspired by a one-month trip through the title country. Other tracks are about the country's ocean ("Ocean"), unforgettable evenings ("Para Ti") and wind ("Alma Del Viento"). Walking a narrow southern street inspired "La Voz De Las Calles," while "Ana" is dedicated to every girl lucky enough to have that beautiful name.
