K.Smith is a singer/songwriter from Newark, Ohio that has been writing and recording Folk, Country, and Gospel songs for over 20 years. With a flare for straight from the heart stories, down home heartbreak, and the real world around us. Many of his songs are straight from the front porch of small towns that range from South Carolina, to California. The roots of country and gospel music are present in every song. The acoustic guitar, banjo and harmonic help tell the stories that have been put to paper over the last 20 years by Kevin, and his heart and soul shows in many of them. "Some say it's a gift to be able to write, I say it's just a matter of paying attention to the life that happens to you".
