The idea to finally get up and make a 2nd album came from a guy named Matt Farley, who is busy writing hundreds of songs a day. He writes entire albums about a single room in his house, inspiration for Matt literally comes from everywhere. So I went to the gym, and football of course was on the TVs, this was in early January 2014. The lyrics for 'Football Night in America' came to me. After that, I built up an idea of the football players being sheep, and the metaphor grew from there. Owner Operator is the only song on the album that was written before 2014. Other than that, everything on the album has something to do with football.
