Shrubb the Thug began rhyming @ the age of 12 after listening to & becoming inspired by Eric B & Rakim’s now legendary album “Paid in Full”. Other early influences include: N.W.A, Slick Rick, Too Short, & Ice T. Throughout the years Shrubb has studied the industry & worked his craft to perfection. He has released & been featured on numerous projects throughout the state of Illinois. He has had the opportunity to open live shows for some of raps biggest names including Twista, Lil John & The Eastside Boyz & B2K. He also co-headlined the “End Of Summer Jam” outdoor concert held in Peoria, Il for the past 3 yrs. Shrubb has gained a loyal local following throughout the city & is considered to be one of the best unsigned emcees.
