Nick has been living in the Caribbean for about 5 years. It shows. Last year he gave us "Sonar" that he made with many of the NYC White Elephant players. This time, "Hurricane Alley" was made at his place in the Bahamas. Poisonwood Studios is Nick's work and live space down there. The songs are strong and beautiful. Plenty of reggae stuff behind the blues grooves. Sounds like nobody else but is still familiar.
