Trell Blaze More than just an artist. One of the members of R&B Duo, Coop DeVille (with his older brother and manager, Damon “D. Coop” Cooper), Trell Blaze is definitely not new to creating and delivering music. Since childhood he Trell Blaze has been involved in music and audio engineering even when he didn’t realize it. He used to experiment with tape recorders and learned how to creatively alter the sounds that came from them. He used to play, break, and rebuild drum kits. He used to sneak and play with his older brother’s synthesizers and keyboards. He would bang on his grandmother’s old piano and get yelled at for it. He would sing along to his mom’s favorite records from the 50’s and 60’s, his uncles’, aunts’ and brothers’ tapes from the 70’s and 80’s, and his grandmother’s gospel hymns from all eras. He never knew that these things would prepare him for what he is today – a completely self-reliant all-in-one musician. Vocal skills? He has that. Music composition? He does his own. Lyrics and vocal arrangement? He does that too. Audio engineering specialist? He doesn’t need one. Limo driver? Ok, maybe he doesn’t do that (haha). Truth be told, he is not the only person in the world who can wear multiple hats in the music industry. What makes him unique is his ability to do them ALL on a special level.
