The talented Sid Fidla James rejoins us here at DLA with his second EP. In a move away from his usual jungle influenced style, Sid this time shows his talents with 3 very different tracks. "Piano", takes a beautiful classical piano line and melds it with a smooth bass line and beats to create a classical sounding smooth drum and bass track. "Changing Times", has it's influences in the smokey jazz clubs of the 20's. Cleverly edited trumpet samples have been put with more traditional jungle elements to create an outstanding piece of work. "Understand", moves closer to what we expect from this artist. Straight up drum and bass, with just a nod towards the more melodic style of the rest of the EP. Moving between jungle and drumstep this is an outstanding track from the one and only Sid Fidla James.
