Freeway Philharmonic was a quirky instrumental group on Spindletop Records in the late 80's and the 90's. Consisting of guitarist and founder Robert Stanton, Chapman Stick player Larry Tuttle, violist Novi Novog and later drummer Scott Jackson (the first album was done as a trio, no drums). Larry Tuttle and Novi went on to form STRING PLANET after Freeway Phil broke up.
