This album progresses in stages. In "Mother Nature" the stage is set to hold the scene upon which the rest of the events of the album play out. In "Saturn & Jupiter" I describe the cosmic patterns that are influencing the events to unfold in the album on a macro scale. The album kicks off with a problem presented by the self-explanatory "Too Much Pride". "A Little Bit Evil" , "Temple Of Lust" Explore the various vices I indulged in at my lower vibratory states. "Comfort Zone" goes on to explain how in order to grow, I needed to leave my comfort nest of proverbial circle-jerks and vices. "Duality" explores the struggle of wanting to stay true to my political stances, but then existentialism creeps in and begs the question "why should I give this my energy?". I should live my life and not worry about what they think, but I still really DO CARE about what they think. I should settle down with my new perfect love, or should I continue with the excitement of playing the field? "Me n U vs The World" Makes it pretty obvious which path I chose. In "Good News" I talk about all the blessings that came from leaving my comfort zone and teaming up with my love for greater success. Moving forward, people try to bring you back down to their miserable vibration when they see you happy and succeeding. At least four songs are dedicated to calling out the various flaws I can see in these miserable people. "Look At God" is an ode to gratitude to the great mind of the universe that has provided blessings and clarity to overcome the mess of obstacles. Then, I celebrate and spread that energy to my peers in "Holy Ghost" and "Galaxy". Finally, In "Work When it's Time, Play When it's Time" I acknowledge that despite the success and happiness I've attained thus far, there is still much more work to be done. The song is a reminder to keep a healthy work/life balance and to not sacrifice our inner peace for material success. After all, this whole thing is really about the journey. There is no fixed destination, but that which we determine in the present moment.
