Woman E are set to release their new track Desire. A piece of pure pop at its best: infectious, 90s infused and totally heartfelt. Woman E have always described their music as 'melancholy disco' and Desire seems to be the best example of that claim yet. Imagine Kylie kissing Kraftwerk in a bed of subversive big chorus pop. That is Desire, and essentially that is Woman E. This band aspires to make pop music with substance and Desire is more inward looking than your typical chart stormer. It describes the dilemma of someone who has found their vocation only to suffer pain and isolation in the pursuit of it.
