A long time in coming, this album is a self-funded labor of love with no-strings-attached. The artist made all creative decisions herself, deliberately choosing songs that either haven't been heard of in a while, or aren't well known by the American listeners. The sixth track, "You Thought You Knew Me", is an original piece by the artist.

Ruth Brown is a world traveled, multi-cultured, multi-lingual singer/musician with many friends in many corners of the world. She currently resides in Knoxville,Tennessee, USA. She is happily musical, fiercely protective of her friends, and has nothing but love for the world!
