Chuck Colley and Erik Wendelken have been playing music together for more than 15 years. Both trans-planted to Nantucket about the same time and hooked up with each other through other musicians. Both started teaching at Nantucket High School in 1996 and both have wonderful wives that support them even though they are musicians. Both like to ride twin cylinder motorcycles. Both were born in the 20th century, in the USA, and both like to make noise on large boxes made of wood with steel strings attached. The similarities are absolutely uncanny.

6 X 6 is an album of 12 lyrical tunes written by chuck and erik individually. A departure from their last instrumental effort, "Wood &Steel", you can actually sing along with this one instead of just humming or whistling. Herein lies an assortment
