简介
Todd O'Keefe is a contemporary folk artist from Santa Barbara, California. As well as performing as a solo artist, Todd has worked extensively as a session musician, performing and recording with Ray Davies, Jeff Beck, Frank Black from The Pixies, Elvis Costello, Social Distortion, and Rusty Anderson from the Paul McCartney band. Todd was also a member of Los Angeles pop rock band, The 88. Although clearly influenced by folksy troubadours Paul Simon and Neil Young, O'Keefe also draws his musical inspiration from classic pop songwriting teams Goffin and King, Dozier-Holand-Dozier, and Leiber and Stoller, making for music that is rooted in traditional folk, but crafted with pop sensibilities. "Uptown", released in November 2016 is Todd's first solo record.
