Inga Kashakashvili was born in Kutaisi, Georgia. Having started to play the piano at the age of three, she received her first piano lessons from her mother, a concert pianist. At the age of 5, Inga had her first public performance, and quickly got noticed by Georgian musical community for her special musical gift. From 1979 to 1990 Inga is frequently performing in Kutaisi, Batumi, Tbilisi, also making several appearances on Radio and TV. In 1991, Inga Kashakashvili makes her first international debut. Invited to participate at New Port International Piano Competition in London was awarded Diploma certificate. This was a beginning of her international touring career. In the same year she appears in the renowned Barbican Center in London and then continues to tour Great Britain. In 1993, Inga gets accepted into Tbilisi V.Saradjishvili State Conservatoire where she studies with Mr. Professor N. Katamadze. During this time, she makes her appearances as a soloist with the Georgian Symphony Orchestra, performing Rachmaninov’s 2.Concerto. In the subsequent years Ms. Kashakashvili frequently appears with orchestras, including concerts under renowned Nicolas Rauss (Switzerland), T.Chumburidze and others, performing on Georgia's most important stages and abroad, including an appearance at the Leipzig Music Festival (2000). The year of 2001 brings Inga Kashakashvilli another victory;-she visits United States for the first time to participate at the Flier International Piano Competition wins the Third Prize. At the same time she gets awarded a full scholarship to participate at the Piano Summer Festival in New Paltz, NY. In the year of 2002 Inga moves to Chicago, IL to continue her studies at the renowned DePaul University under Eteri Andjaparidze. From 2003 to 2005, Ms. Kashakashvili becomes a recipient of DePaul Performance Award, gives concerts throughout United States, including an Appearance at the United Sounds of America Festival, dedicated to the 9/11/ tragedy. Some of her recitals were recorded and broadcasted by Chicago Classical Radio WFMT. From 2005 she moves to New York and continues her studies under a guidance of a world-class pianist Vladimir Feltsman at Mannes School of Music. At the same time she was awarded for her accomplishments and achievements at “Madison Who’s Who”. Inga was broadcasted and invited for an interview at Russian radio “VSE” in New York. In 2008 she wins Artists International Competition. In 2009 Ms. Kashakashvili gave solo recital at Carnegie Hall and was presented by Artists International in the Special Presentation Winners Series. Same year Ms. Kashakashvili was invited by ABT to perform at Metropolitan Opera. Her future engagements include recital series at Steinway Hall, Bechstein Hall, Carnegie Hall.
