The Producer and DJ from Barcelona Cora Novoa is releasing “ACT III: This is not about you and me. This is about us”, the third part of “Mental Diary”, her most avant-garde and conceptual album to date. After exploring self-improvement and the sense of loss in the previous acts, in this third chapter the artist delves into the complexities of human existence in the digital age, reflecting on issues such as artificial intelligence, sustainability and the search for a sense of community in an increasingly fragmented world. Released on her label SEEKING THE VELVET, “ACT III. This is not about you and me. This is about us” is a compendium of nine tracks that build a dark and mysterious sonic atmosphere, using modular synthesizers and analog recordings to reflect the complexity and uncertainty of our time. It works as a conclusion to Mental Diary, which beyond a traditional musical release is presented as a 360º project that combines music, visual art and design. Like each act of the trilogy, this album has been conceived as a work of art in itself, with a coherent narrative and a distinctive visual language. However, this latest installment is distinguished from the previous ones by its full-length format, unlike the previous releases. “ACT III. This is not about you and me. This is about us” will be available on all platforms on December 5th and will feature three advance singles and two music videos. On that date, six previously unreleased tracks will be released. The release will be accompanied by a limited edition cassette, an exclusive print and the digital format of the album, as well as a capsule collection of clothing under the SEEKING THE VELVET umbrella, with every detail taken care of to immerse the listener in a unique sonic and visual universe.
