Jenny Beck was born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1978. She grew up listening to music from the Sixties & was strongly influenced by legends such as Joni Mitchell, The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel & Cat Stevens. She started writing songs in her mid teens and has to date written over 100 songs, a selection of which have featured on her both self and label released albums since she started recording in 2003. In 2001 she moved to United Kingdom, which resulted in her making music on a full time basis. She has since toured the UK, Holland and Nashville and has produced 3 albums herself, which she has released through her own label, FoxTale Records. In 2007 Jenny signed to Dutch record label LB Music Productions who remixed and remastered a selection of Jenny’s self produced songs and released the album “Collection” in 2008. To promote the album release Jenny did a tour with a full backing band in Holland and performed on several Dutch radio shows and on live television. 2009 was a particularly busy year for Jenny. Music had to be put on the shelf for a while to give way to a new chapter in her life - motherhood. She currently lives back in Sweden with her daughter. She’s lately been studying, started a new job and been busy writing material for the new album “Bluebird”. Jenny Beck is a singer/songwriter with her own sound. Her lyrics tell stories that captivate the listener and everyone can relate to...stories about life, love, relationships, nature and friendship. She captivates her audience with her honesty, personality, warmth and voice. There is a song for every mood on all her albums and live she gives an intimate performance and lets the audience in on the stories and secrets behind the songs. There is no perfect way to describe Jenny Beck’s music...Pop, Folk, Acoustic, Blues, Country...a mix of several genres that work well together on all her albums. “Bluebird” is the most commercial and without a doubt the strongest of all her albums to date.
