While overwintering for the last couple of months, we considered other; more unfamiliar takes on dance music and put together releases that are designated for specific places and specific moods. With TRCK18 we inaugurate a renewed beginning. iON projects Helluva, a traditional wonder track, while Florian Meffert pressures the track to into his own take as a remix.

TRCK18 sees our newest signing, iON, intending to soften the ears while not forgetting to remember our feet. The numinous 'Helluva' can emit mixed feeling when played out. On the one hand emphasizing a state of serene, as a silken like horn sounds hover in and out the tracks boundaries, along with delayed sounds, making the track feel airy and 'traditional'. Secondly, the tracks infused groove, tightens the bond between the mystical and the modern, as the breaks like snares and kicks keep your attention focused.

Rooted in Frankfurt, Florain Meffert gives Helluva his own touch by applying some pressure. The overall feel of the track gets darker. Mysticism is lost between kicks and snares, delays and filters. As the BPM is heightened, the energy flows more freely through the track.
