It's been 5 years since Beth Champion Mason's last CD, "Postcards", and she has definitely grown in the meantime. "Just a Glimpse" represents a new depth in songwriting and vocals for Beth. Her storytelling voice has matured, as displayed in tracks like "Hopeless Into Hope" and "Awaken Me." At the same time, her passion as a worship leader has emerged on this album. She's penned several tracks that modern churches everywhere can embrace for the voice of their own congregations, from the catchy pop-feel of "Do It Again" to a refreshing re-make of the old hymn "'Tis So Sweet" and the raw, intimate proclamation of "I Can Stand."
