This year Don has recorded two albums in Nashville; an album with his band “DON SMITH & THE AUTHORITY” at RIVERGATE STUDIO, Chris Henderson producer and this American Roots album at SONY ,Doc Holiday producer. Don has two songs officially entered in the upcoming 60th annual Grammy Awards both of which are on this album: "The Theory of You And Me" and "Moss Point Mississippi". The album also contains the backing tracks for all six original songs. Recorded at Sony on music row in Nashville with the top traditional session players in the business with guest appearance by Doug Kershaw on Moss Point Mississippi , engineer Bobby Bradley music row royalty and the legendary producer Doc Holiday.
