The Artist: Alex found a true passion in music production, which has propelled him into the Toronto music scene. As film composer, Alex has worked on over half a dozen short films, each with their own unique style, exemplifying his ability as both a classical and contemporary musician. Venturing into independent alternative pop/rock under the stage name EDITORE, Alex chose to reflect a particular skill in the art of film editing, which he practices professionally, as a pseudonym for his music; representing his attention to detail and meticulous cutting and mastering of each track he produces. A trained pianist, electric and acoustic guitarist, and a solo and harmonic vocalist, Alex constructs his own original works from the comfort of his home studio. The Dance Production: Wake of the Fallen explores the subject of addiction. Based on personal interviews with recovered addicts, this show weaves the gripping story of two people in the throes of addiction through captivating contemporary dance.
