the project "built up in air" is a collection of songs produced played and mixed by multi instrumentalist issar shulman. Issar is a film composer (2008 emmy nominated) and as such he is inspired by visuals and narrative. reading "perdido street station" by china mieville was a trigger to capture this unique dark atmosphere. The music has influences of 80' rock and progressive rock of the 70'. Along with classical strings arranged by issar who plays cello and double bass, and tina schauer in violin, distorted guitars and complex harmony played mainly by piano accompaniment this is a unique cd that reflects deep and profound approach to this rock genre.
