Sorcery Records presents Iris! - The Day Dreamer with Remixes by Lionpride and Joey Seven. Drawing the listener into the Progressive style Trance track with a saw lead bassline, kick drums and sweeping synth sounds, Iris! drops the pace at the breakdown into a dreamlike melody played by strings and then rebuilds it into the final section of the track with a powerful synth vibe. Slower in pace, the Lionpride Remix delivers bass drum kicks and rhythms from the outset of the track with atmospheric use of reverb and techy bassline synth sounds, pausing only for light relief in the breakdown before dropping back into the opening vibe. This is a track which takes daydreams to a darker place. The second Remix has been produced by Joey Seven and features a pounding bass and a riff played by chorded synths. Clever use of pitch risers, sweeps and a piano pick up the melody in the breakdown, backed by strings which fade as the track builds again with techy synths and pounding rhythms. This is an outstanding Progressive Remix and it just keeps delivering.
