Redlight Electrons is an experimental electronica/space rock duo from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, consisting of João Nonato and Rafael Nonato. And what exactly do they do? They just go and get lost somewhere between rock and electronic music. This is how the audience should approach their first two LPs, Artificial Art Device and All The Sounds Of Ether: not knowing where they are going, but willing to get there. From Daft Punk to Darkside, from John Frusciante to John Carpenter, from Pink Floyd to Aphex Twin... Many are the paths that the Redlight Electrons take with their chill, psychedelic sounds. Really, it's all a matter of trust and devotion for the creative act, wherever it may lead us. Both LPs were made at the same time during 2016, just for the sake of making music, of bringing something new, something interesting to this world, and having some fun. And now they describe their work simply as "music they like listening to". Well, that's definitely a good genre, isn't it?
