简介
John Jameson is a sixty something singer songwriter who finally escaped working full time and was able to focus on all the songs he had started in composition books, scraps of paper, sung as voice memos, and written in notes on his phone. John's musical influences are everywhere but for the most part he is done with the 70's and more interested in current music. John loves loves XPN in Philly and watching NPR's Tiny Desk Concerts to see bands from all eras but especially newer musicians. John has been compared to James Taylor and Willy Nelson. John doesn't agree or disagree. Interstate, Saturday Night and Home are love songs. Dollar Short, Rending Crash, And Take this Pain are not, but are rocky, bluesy and lots of fun to Listen to. Cards on Cards is a play on words song with a fun honky tonk piano played by Dave Nachmanoff. Stealing Songs is a protest against the poaching and eating of songbirds across Europe. Widdershins is a song about your altered state when you are half asleep in the middle of the night, which is when John composed it again and again. Little Birds reflects a parents concerns for their adult children. John had a major bit a luck when he met Dave Nachmanoff . Dave is a phenomenal singer, songwriter and multi instrumentalist who produced and added his many musical talents to the CD. John hopes you enjoy the clips and buy the CD.
