Born in the early 80’s during New York City’s peak of drug dealing economics and violence, Isz has been witness to the devastation of the inner city. And as the streets of Brooklyn grew grittier in the early 90’s, Isz would have to endure the harsh realities of street life and the drug game. Eventually, his mother would send him to church, where he began to cultivate his love for music by teaching himself piano and playing every week for the congregation. It was this love for music that eventually would pull him out of the streets and into the studio. Now with a more focused mind, Isz is at his hungriest. He feels he’s been underground too long and it’s time to make some noise.
