I used to be criticized by the industry for being too versatile in musical styles. However, my music is not for them and it took me a while to realize that I could sing, shape and accomplish the music in my heart, regardless! Don’t get me wrong! I believe in what they do very much, but I seem to be finding my own niche and path with some direction from above! ;) With my New Christmas Release, I’ve been able mix genres, apples & oranges, and get creative without being put into a box! It’s been a blast to walk in this freedom and it seems to have gone over well so far! Actually, that’s one of the responses I get the most! Turns out, people enjoy having a little variety in their repertoires, if it’s done well! A while ago, my heart began to draw (more than normal!) to Christmas music and the realization that it can build bridges and cross over generations, styles, cultures, races and even some religions! I wanted to create something that brought peace and hope to people from all of these places in life! With that in mind, we created a simple medley and released my first Christmas single last year. To my surprise, I began to receive quite the encouragement to do a full-length Christmas project! Since we funded the first song on our own, we knew we’d need help to continue on this venture and decided to do a Kickstarter Campaign to see if the interest was real, and it was! As soon as we were funded, we hit warp speed, from the studio to production & duplication, to get this out to you in time for this year’s Christmas season! So here we are! With a grateful heart, I’m excited to celebrate and share this keepsake with you! In addition to a wide variety of styles, I also have some pretty talented peeps joining me! This mostly acoustic album is heart infused, filled with soul and inspiration and I believe it will bring Joy and Peace to you and yours for this Christmas season and many to come! “A Merry Little Christmas” ...to you!
