简介

Come One, Come All was recorded live at The Tone Shoppe in Columbus, OH by Eric Cronstein. A band that consisted of Stevens' friends from the area brought life to the songs. Matt Umland, Matt O'Conke, Ben Ryant, Andy Cook, Garyn Jones and Haley Antell all brought their incredible talents. Bobby Stevens is a native lake-coast Ohioan currently living and song-crafting in the river town of St. Louis, Missouri. His sounds have been preserved on his first E.P, Up The Road and Back (recorded with Andy Cook) and the following full length album, Come One Come All!, (recorded live by Eric Cronstein), which featured cameos and collaborations with many of Bobby’s friends and fellow musicians. He has been seen touring through the Midwest and East Coast playing to people in backyards, wine bars, dive bars, basements, and every type of venue beyond and in-between. If you ask Bobby’s friends what kind of music he makes you may hear something like this: “This thing happens every now and then, where I stumble (drunkenly) over to my record player, cue it up and then drop the needle. There's a moment of static and then Bobby Stevens blows my fucking mind. Sorry for the F-bomb, I guess I meant it.”— Matt Scarbrough. If you ask him what sort of music he makes, he’ll probably just tell you he believes in the ways of rhythm, blues, and story-telling. "Bobby Stevens created an album that keeps the memory of roots rock alive with his new release Come One, Come All. The different styles that make up the release fit together well and show that Stevens is a talented singer-songwriter. This new album is just a glimpse at his talent." -Matheson Kamin "Bobby Stevens took to Casa Cantina’s stage a little after 10 p.m. Friday night for a show presented by Ohio University’s All Campus Radio Network (ACRN). Stevens, surrounded by amps and instrument cases, was a one-man band, unlike the evening's other two acts: Pop-rockers Scubadog, with its classic four-piece lineup; and The Ridges, a band that does its thing Arcade Fire-style, (aka one bazillion people and one bazillion instruments). Stevens is a singer-songwriter, which is a term that can be misleading. To me, there are three archetypes that most guitar-strumming, poetry-penning musicians fall under: Bob Dylan-type, Leonard Cohen-type and Bruce Springsteen-type. Stevens most definitely falls into the Boss’ category--and he's not ashamed to show it. Stevens bashed out a series of anthems, and even with the largely unresponsive, highly chatty crowd, his tunes resonated in the room. If you happened to be one of the few clued into Stevens’ performance, every song felt intimate."- Emily Votaw WOUB Athens, Oh "I was driving with a few friends when this song came on. I told them it was a new Bruce Springsteen song. They believed me. While Bobby is not the boss, he does possess a boss-like power in his voice. He commands attention. He helps to pass the miles. He takes over. Although he is not from Iowa, he is connected to Iowa. This song is simply too good not to be included. I met Bobby while on tour with MR NASTI and Annalibera in St. Louis, and I’ve had a strong affinity for his music ever since. I think you’ll share my sentiments." - Bruce Bales for band bombshell
