"Just when I thought I was done writing pop songs, this new 2012 CD collection 'Risk It All' came together when Producer Rich Piszker approached me with his music that needed melodies & lyrics," laughs Lori Malvey, singer/songwriter. "I'm really glad I listened and recorded my ideas with his, because it is a great collection of songs. If you're in a certain mood, I guarantee there's a song on this CD to go with it." Styles range from reflective alternative rock ("Risk It All", "Rough Edges"), power ballads ("Once Again", "A Mother's Song"), dance/techno ("Survival"), gospel-tinged dance music ("Like The Rain", "Be Next to Me" "Come Free Your Heart"), movie-theatrical ("My Heart Is Always Breaking") and social concern("There's A New World Comin'). Two Grammy-award winning engineers, Earl Cohen and Jason Corsaro, recorded Lori's vocals on two of the songs. "I learned alot from Earl and Jason, because their ears are so fine-tuned," says Lori. "All the engineers were wonderful. It came out great."
