This record is pretty eclectic. The songs mix 70's pop, classic soul and jazz with themes of life, death, love, sex,and personal truth. I am not often compared to anyone, but I've been told the record sounds like "70's Stevie Wonder/Marvin Gaye and Wing's era McCartney on a jazz bender". I'm fortunate to play with some amazing musicians. They are worth the price of admission for sure.     I have always loved music and lyrics especially when they combine in a way that makes me feel like I am understanding or being understood at last. Whether it was simply joy or a deeper connection to my world and myself... songs were my best teacher and friend. I have made a career as a writer and visual artist so I'm amazed it took me so long to put these two parts of my life together. I hope you love records as much as I do and like to listen to them in order all the way through just like a movie. (at least the first time) No matter how you do it though...thanks for listening.
