What inspired me to write this song is that it's about a love I lost and how deep the hurt was. I sat in my room just missing her and these words came to me with tears in my eyes. I put the words into a song with the help of my mother and producer Gee Pierce. One thing I've gained out of the whole ordeal, is that I have found myself not only in my music, but also, in who I am as a man.
