Barefoot (Po strništi bos in original) is the third collaboration of Academy Award© winning director Jan Sverak and Slovak music composer Michal Novinski. Symphony film score performed by Sinfonietta Bratislava reflects emotions of biographic memories of Zdenek Sverak, whose book the film is based on. Both comical and dark memories of childhood get along with rich orchestration in contrast with minimalism raising from the ease of look at children´s world within knowledge of a mature man. Soundtrack contains dialogues that shift audience back into the film story starring Tereza Voriskova, Ondrej Vetchy, Alois Grec or Oldrich Kaiser. Film score was recorded by Sinfonietta Bratislava orchestra with Slovak solists in the Radio and Television of Slovakia studio conducted by Adrian Kokos. Solo piano parts were recorded by Vladislav Sarissky.
