Each piece lead us on a journey, nothing planned, stemming towards positive and emotive sounds, sometimes there is tension and release within seconds, entangled in Sunyata's beautiful melodic guitar, Sunyata often sings the lines when playing, resulting in some very touching melodies. In 1994 Simon Salter, Sunyata and I set up in my kitchen to have a try at learning a couple of Sunyata's compositions, as well as a good jam. A visiting friend (sound dude) Mike Cichopat went to great lengths to set up a nice live stereo recording for us, which he did beautifully, tweaking the instruments on the fly, a few weeks later we repeated our efforts, joined by Peter Raidell on tenor Sax. we dearly thank Mike for his efforts, track seven and track eleven are 2 improvisations from these recordings named "Mirage Number 21" and "Dragonfly". In 2004 we began recording rhythm and bass tracks to "Trilogy", "Earl Lylac" and "Silk Road". these three tracks were taken from our 1992 efforts mentioned above, as time went on, the three of us began recording live in my home studio, the rest happened naturally by using our imaginations........
