When I was asked to sing in the temple of Lord Krishna in Mumbai way back in 1998, I never understood the depth of this task. All I knew was that I wanted to sing for Krishna. The Deities are called Radha Rasabihari and every time I sang before Them, I felt myself drawn closer and closer into their intimate circle. Every time Krishna would teach me more and more how to render songs for His pleasure and eventually by His grace these beautiful tunes emerged. PYARO means 'beloved' and for sure He stands there loving all that come to see Him along with His beautiful consort Radharani. The track Krishna Jinka Naam He has practically become an anthem in South Africa. The radio station Hindvani informed me that they have to air it at least three times throughout the day and if for some reason they fail to, then a listener would phone in and request the song! I am grateful to all my well-wishers who have written to me on facebook or by emails commenting on this track.
